Österplana Kinnekulle

Kinnekulle a very large ice-age hill on the shores of lake Vänern at 306m high , 14km long and 7km wide boasts a unique oasis for nature lovers.

With over 19 nature reserves in a multitude of diverse habitats for wildlife and plants, it makes up the Unesco recognized Kinnekulle Biosphere area.

Korsgården is situated on the Österplana plateau with fine views over Kullens sumit , Österplana Heath & Meadows reserve and the valley below. Surrounded by lush countryside intermixed with farmland and woodland you can absorb the tranquility of nature.

Here you can relax in a peaceful calm enviroment with large garden areas, including lovely kitchen gardens with fruit and vegetables.

Take advantage of our under-cover fire /bbq area and cook your dinner outside, then finish your day with a wood -fired sauna with forest veiws.

MTB tracks, lot's of historical sites as much as 42 churches ,cosy country, handcraft village, cafe's and much much more…..
